โ๏ธ Stop Calculation Parameters
Select route.gpx (default) or a segNN.gpx file from Create Routes. Segment selection scopes daily-stop generation to that segment and appends SegNN to generated stop file names.
The number of miles you hope to ride each day.
How many days you'll ride before resting. e.g. 5 = Ride 5 days then rest on the 6th day.
The day you plan on starting the ride.
If set, the system will calculate Miles Per Day to finish the route by this date.
When End Date is provided, Miles Per Day is ignored.
If End Date is set, Miles Per Day will be ignored.
Click this field to auto-load the file list. If you uploaded a file in the Load/Process Daily Files screen, those files will show up here. Selecting one uses the end of that file as the starting point for stop generation.
If you used the Current File Location, and that current file was your 6th ride day, then you would enter 6 into this field.
If you used the Current File Location, and that current file was on your 6th ride day, but 7th total day on this route, you'd enter 7 into this field.
For temporary adjustments based on current journey conditions โ fatigue, weather, or scheduling. If the next 4 days are going to be hard, and your default miles per day was set to 80, then you could set this to 60,65,70,65 to set how many miles you'd ride each of the 4 days before switching to the 80 miles per day default. For route-geography milestones (e.g. a mountain pass or a fixed resupply town), use Daily Splits instead.
Use the pin button on the map (below the zoom controls) to place a planned stop โ works on desktop and mobile. On desktop you can also right-click the map directly. Set To/From distance to 0 if the stop is on your route. Use the checkboxes to include detour miles in your daily totals.
Tap the ๐ pin button on the map, or right-click on the map or graph to add a planned stop.
๐ Generate Stop Files
Generate stop files from the selected Route file. route.gpx keeps existing naming behavior. If a segNN.gpx route is selected, generated stop file names append SegNN. If Current Location is selected, projectedStopsSegNN.(csv/kml) is generated; otherwise (miles)-StopsSegNN.(csv/kml) is generated.
For route-geography milestones โ a mountain pass, a fixed resupply town, a terrain-heavy section. Daily splits are set by right-clicking in the Elevation Graph.
